Many of <br /> these team members worked together at SimplexGrinnell in the S. Florida branch for <br /> many years. They completed a large number of security system installations as a team <br /> for SimplexGrinnell. When this entire team joined Quality Communications Fire and <br /> Security, our company entered the security business on more than an installation basis. <br /> This allowed us to utilize the same team with a more comprehensive turn-key solution <br /> (integrated systems combined with fiber optics, installation, and telecommunications <br /> solutions). In addition, the General Manager (Bill DuPriest), the Operations Manager <br /> (John Peterson), and the Installation Supervisor (Jesus Carias) for the entire <br /> SimplexGrinnell S. Florida branch joined our company. We then added people from <br /> other security/telecommunications backgrounds including BellSouth, Honeywell, <br /> Siemens, and Mans. <br /> Company CEO/Director — Mr. John Hood has owned and operated Quality <br /> Communications Fire and Security, Inc. since it's inception in 1990. The Hood family <br /> has been an integral part of the day to day operations of this company. Mr. Hood <br /> ® founded Quality Communications of Florida in 1990 to work as a subcontractor to <br /> BellSouth for the Communications Cabling contract for The School Board of Broward <br /> County. In 1997, Quality Communications of Florida became the prime contractor for <br /> this project and Mr. Hood's company has maintained it ever since. <br /> Mr. Hood has many years of experience in networks and <br /> telecommunications and founded this company after „% ) <br /> working for 35 years as an executive for BellSouth and _ .1. 0 <br /> AT&T. John and his family reside in South Florida and <br /> are very involved in the local community. He has �_1f; <br /> several children who are also involved in the company. " <br /> President - Mr. Scott Hood, has been with the company since 1990 as part owner of <br /> Quality Communications Fire and Security, Inc. He has been responsible for various <br /> segments of the business over the years including the financials, installation of large <br /> cable systems, and telephone/PBX systems and installation.
