His professional career includes a 25-year tenure with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, <br /> where he held a variety of construction coordination and management roles. After leaving the Corps, he <br /> entered the private disaster recovery industry serving as a project/program manager, senior project <br /> manager, operations manager and vice president of operations. He is a highly-skilled, boots-on-the-ground <br /> manager of disaster recovery projects, specifically those requiring expertise related to removal, reduction <br /> and final disposition of vegetative, construction, demolition and hazardous debris. <br /> PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br /> • Louisiana Floods 2016. Project Manager for Livingston Parish project involving clean-up following <br /> heavy rains and flooding in Louisiana in August 2016. <br /> • Texas Floods 2016. Project Manager in Bastrop County following flooding in the county. <br /> • Winter Storm Goliath 2015. Project Manager for clean-up of several cities and counties under the <br /> Oklahoma Emergency Management Authority following Winter Storm Goliath over Christmas 2015. <br /> • • Winter Storm Pax 2014. Operations Manager for Columbia County clean up after Winter Storm <br /> Pax. Managed removal and disposal of over 500,000 CY of debris. <br /> • June Microburst Storm 2013. Project Manager for cleanup project of debris and tree removal in <br /> • Albemarle, NC following a summer microburst storm. <br /> ▪ U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 2006-2011. Numerous large-scale U.S Army Corps of Engineers, <br /> multiple state DOT and municipality debris removal and heavy construction contracts. Specifically <br /> two debris removal and one heavy construction contract with the Minneapolis-St. Paul District Army <br /> Corps of Engineers. These USACE contracts were part of the recovery effort following the Mouse <br /> River Flood of Spring 2011 in Minot, North Dakota Duties required and successfully-completed, <br /> included constant, 24/7 communication and availability with the Minot, USACE Disaster Recovery <br /> field office and its project engineer and contracting officer. Possessed complete knowledge and <br /> responsibility of all contract operation management functions. Retained full authority as company <br /> officer to commit to any/all requirements of the contracts including preparation, negotiation and <br /> execution of any additional contracts or change order/modifications. Managed preparation and <br /> implementation of all aspects of Quality Control, Accident Prevention, Regulatory and Operation <br /> Planning.Worked closely with local and state officials to insure all proper permits and licenses were <br /> requested and in place prior to and during performance of these contracts.
