TIDAL <br /> BASIN <br /> Other Related Services X X X <br /> • <br /> Table 1-Mapping of Functional Elements to Companies. <br /> 2.2.1 Tidal Basin Roles and Responsibilities <br /> Tidal Basin is the prime contractor for the CISB project.They are responsible for 10%of the work, <br /> including the four major functional elements of the CISB project: <br /> a) day-to-day project management including subcontractor management, <br /> b) information technology, <br /> c) training, and <br /> d) quality assurance. <br /> Project Management.Tidal Basin overall responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day efforts of the <br /> Tidal Basin team.To this end,Tidal Basin provides senior and intermediate management staff.They <br /> also provide project support services through the Project Office. <br /> Information Technology.Tidal Basin is responsible for the computer-based solution for the CISB <br /> project.This responsibility includes: <br /> • a) recording, documentation,tracking, and monitoring of project worksheets (PWs) <br /> b) analysis of the current technical environment, <br /> c) remedy of issues and challenges <br /> Training.Tidal Basin is responsible for training needs analysis, development of training strategies and <br /> plans, development or procurement of training courseware,and coordination of the training courses. <br /> The actual provision of training will be a shared responsibility with the City. <br /> Quality Assurance.Tidal Basin provides the project discipline functions through the Quality <br /> Assurance organization.These functions include: <br /> a) providing quality assurance and quality control services, <br /> b) providing disaster recovery consulting services, and <br /> c) coordinating the compliance with contract standards and project procedures. <br /> 2.2.2 Florida Disaster Consultants(FDC) Roles and Responsibilities <br /> FDC provides a significant(80%) percentage of the efforts on the CISB project.As the project <br /> progresses from defining the requirements through implementation to FEMA/reimbursement,the <br /> efforts of FDC will be refocused.There are three principal areas of responsibility for FDC: <br /> a) debris monitoring, <br /> b) field supervision and field collection,and <br /> c) data entry and data management. <br /> Management of Change. FDC will coordinate the actions necessary to help assure that the City is <br /> ready, in all respects,to accept, commit to and use the innovative approach to their business.This <br /> Page: 3 <br /> a <br /> 1 <br />
