EInc. <br /> DISASTER RESPONSE DIVISION <br /> Subcontractor Safety <br /> Safety is considered a condition of employment and is the responsibility of all associated <br /> with TFR, whether in the capacity of employee or subcontractor. All subcontract agreements <br /> are subject to this Safety and Occupational Health Policy as a condition of the contract <br /> agreement. <br /> The following procedures will be administered to assure that all subcontractor activities are <br /> fully integrated into the project safety plan and job hazards analysis. When subcontractors <br /> first report to the job site and prior to beginning work, the project manager shall review with <br /> the subcontractor safety representative the contractual obligation to safety and the project <br /> safety rules that subcontractor employees are required to follow. <br /> 1. Review the Corporate Accident Prevention Plan and stress all the applicable <br /> requirements and procedures. <br /> 2. Review the specific Company safety rules and regulations. <br /> 3. Review hazardous work conditions presented by the physical assessment of the <br /> project. <br /> 4. Instruct their safety representative that they are to attend a monthly safety meeting. <br /> 5. It must be firmly established that all subcontractors' employees must be abide by the <br /> applicable OSHA regulations. <br /> ® Subcontractor Quality Control Program <br /> The purpose of this Quality Control Program is for TFR to establish a quality control system <br /> to perform sufficient inspection and tests of all items of work, including that of our <br /> subcontractors, to ensure conformance to applicable specifications and drawings with <br /> respect to the production, quantities, field activities, materials, workmanship, construction, <br /> finish, functional performance, and identification. <br /> During work on this contract the quality control personnel will perform the required <br /> inspections on the subcontractor's work. The Quality Control Officer is responsible for the <br /> direct supervision of all superintendents and subcontractors to ensure that the work is being <br /> performed according to the Scope of Work and TFR's Quality Control Program. <br /> Additionally, the TFR Quality Control Officer shall prepare, sign and submit to the <br /> Edinburg Representative a Daily Quality Control Report. This will include identification of <br /> Subcontractor QC actions. Subcontractor actions subject to QC verification and reporting, <br /> include, at a minimum: <br /> • Summary of safety issues <br /> • Infrastructure damage <br /> • Total numbers of trucks loaded <br /> • Equipment and plant hours worked and idled or down <br /> • Testing performed and by whom <br /> • Loads and quantities hauled to TDSRS <br /> ® <br /> • Quantity of debris reduced (if applicable) <br /> • Number of subcontractor personnel working <br /> 51 <br />
