• <br /> — _ :SEC:UR:ITY SERVICES <br /> • . . — o <br /> UNIFORMS . <br /> Uniform type and use shall conform to standards and usage described below: <br /> All employees performing under this contract shall wear the same color and style of uniform. <br /> Appropriately, female members of the guard force shall wear feminine style uniforms. <br /> FPI shall, prior to the contract performance date, submit to client's representative documentation that <br /> the following items of uniforms and equipment have been issued to each employee. FPI shall issue a <br /> sufficient quantity of uniform items to ensure that each officer is in proper uniform while on post. Any <br /> disputes regarding application of the standards shall be referred to the client. <br /> Note: Uniforms and equipment must be in good condition and meet the company's standards. As <br /> always there is never a charge to our officers for the uniforms or accessories that they wear. <br /> The uniform shall only be worn when the officer is on official duty or when the officer is in transit <br /> between his/her place of residence and duty station. <br /> Shoes shall be low quarter or high-topped, lace types with police or plain toe and standard heel. <br /> NOTE: No officer will be on duty until he/she is completely uniformed including accessories as per the <br /> client's requirements. <br /> FPI will furnish all officers with an adequate number of uniforms without cost to client. In addition, <br /> uniform cleaning and maintenance is made the responsibility of the officer. However, in those <br /> instances where the uniforms furnished are made of "wash and wear" material, they may be routinely <br /> washed and dried with other personal garments, and do not require any special treatment; such as <br /> dry cleaning, daily washing, or commercial laundering in order to meet the cleanliness or appearance <br /> standards set by the terms of client's contract or by FPI. <br /> SUPPLEMENTARY EQUIPMENT <br /> Each officer on duty shall be equipped with supplementary equipment including, but not limited to <br /> notebooks, pens, pencils, replacement flashlight batteries and bulbs, traffic control safety apparel <br /> (reflective vests, gloves, traffic buttons, etc.) as appropriate to operations. Officers shall not be <br /> permitted to issue themselves any unauthorized supplemental or personal equipment, such as <br /> concealed firearms, knives or other non-standard items. <br /> FPI shall provide and maintain, on-site, an adequate supply of batteries for all flashlights and traffic <br /> control batons. <br /> Inclement weather clothing shall be required for those officers required to perform duties while <br /> exposed to cold, rain, and other inclement weather conditions. All inclement weather clothing must be <br /> identical in style and color for each officer. <br />
