S. Constructability Analysis: Craig Colligan, John Mayer, and Joe Butler and
major subcontractors will join with the architects staff and the various engineering
disciplines during the 50% and 90% drawing stages to review the practicality of
constructing the proposed design and suggest simpler and cheaper ways of
assembling the building.
9. Cost Control : The most important component of our design team or any design-
build process is the ability to associate the design with the cost in the early stages
of the project were cost is impacted the most. Craig Colligan, John Mayer, and
Joe Butler will develop and maintain a detailed cost budget throughout the project
and reevaluate the cost impacts of design changes and unforeseen construction
conditions.
10. Project Closeout: The project closeout will be performed before the actual
completion of the job by detailed record keeping by the project managers and the
project architects and engineers. Our team has many years of experience doing
public and federal work with very exacting requirements.
11. Transition Planning: The main objective of the project is to provide a smooth
transition from the construction phase to children actually attending classes in
® these facilities. Our staff has extensive experience in this area and will work
closely with the school administers during the final stages of the project to work
the best sequence of class schedules, safety, furniture moving, and final cleaning.
12. Security Systems: Our experience in public construction has provided us with a
extensive background in security systems and a pool of specialty subcontractors
to rely upon to evaluate the security needs of the children attending school in
these facilities.
