[ HEWETT-KIER CONSTRUCTION, INC. GENERAL CONTRACTORS Construction Management Hewett-Kier Construction, Inc.'s construction department is headed by Craig Colligan, the Vice President of Hewett-Kier Construction, Inc. Bill Oakman will be the project manager assigned to this project. It will be his responsibility to ensure the timely completion of the project and to insure that all paperwork requirements are met such as submittals, request for information and change orders. In addition the project manager provides monthly input to the CPM and conducts the job coordination meetings which will be held weekly at the jobsite. The project manager constantly monitors the project for which he is responsible and directs the superintendent as needed. The project manager is provided with a company truck and laptop computer to facilitate his job. Hewett-Kier Construction, Inc.'s management team will include Hector Berovides, who will be the superintendent and the quality control manager. As a contractor who has specialized in government construction since inception in 1977 to this date, Hewett-Kier Construction, Inc. has continuously updated and improved its management personnel and techniques. lj The following is an overview of Hewett-Kier Construction, Inc.'s construction management program: Each project has a superintendent assigned to it full time. The superintendent is at the jobsite everyday work is being performed. It is his responsibility to supervise Hewett-Kier Construction, Inc.'s forces as well as those of its subcontractors. When work is being performed by a subcontractor Hewett-Kier Construction, Inc. requires that subcontractor to name in writing it's foreman or superintendent who must be onsite when their work is being performed. Hewett-Kier Construction, Inc.'s superintendent deals only with this individual in directing the subcontractor's work. The superintendent as the quality control officer is in charge of job quality and insuring that the work is performed properly and that the proper materials are being used. The superintendent answers directly to the project manager and is required to inform the project manager daily as to job progress. The project manager and superintendent/quality control manager are responsible for expediting and reviewing submittals and for keeping Hewett-Kier Construction,Inc.'s project management software updated. A secretary is utilized for all data entry, filing and typing. The superintendent/quality control officer works under the authority of the officers of Hewett-Kier Construction, Inc. and with the project manager to help expedite the project.
