CONSULi ANi /CONTRACTOR ORlG\NAL Continuing Professional Services Agreement Contract No. 14919 Procurement No. 13-14-403 For General Engineering Services This Agreement ("Agreement") is made by and between the CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH, with an address of P.O. Box 3366, West Palm Beach , FL 33402-3366 (the "City") and ERDMAN ANTHONY OF FLORIDA, INC., a Florida corporation, with a principal address of 1402 Royal Palm Beach Boulevard, Suite 500, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 (the "Consultant"). AREAS OF QUALIFICATION: 105. Storm Sewer Design 106. Water Distribution, Sewer Collection 107. Lift and Pump Station Design 111. Community Parks 113. Neighborhood Improvements 119. Civil Engineering SECTION 1 -SCOPE OF SERVICES The Consultant agrees to provide to the City general engineering and consulting services relating to the Areas of Qualification listed above. Professional Services will be rendered in response to periodic written work authorizations issued by the City on an as-needed basis, in accordance with Section 1.9. Each work authorization will be subject to scope definition and fee negotiation, at the established hourly rates. This shall be a continuing services agreement in accordance with Sec. 287.055, Florida Statutes. No assignment, minimum amount of professional service or compensation is guaranteed under this Agreement. 1.1 Phases of Professional Services The services provided under this Agreement ("Professional Services" or "Services") intended to be compensated by the Fees shall be categorized into the following phases of service, as applicable. Consultant shall utilize the following categories in describing scope(s) of services under work authorizations: 1. Pre-Design Analysis (or Study/Report Phase, if applicable) 2. Preliminary Design Phase and Estimated Construction Costs 3. Final Design and Construction Documents Phase and Estimated Construction Costs 4. Permitting Phase 5. Bidding and Negotiation Phase 6. Construction Administration Phase 1.2 Pre-Design Analysis (or Study/Report) Phase If the scope of Professional Serv;ces, as detailed in a work authorization, includes pre-design analysis or preparation of study/report, the Consultant shall: 1.2.1 . Consult with the City regarding the requirements and budget allocations for the scope of services and review available data; 1.2.2.
