(b) the total Professional Services Fee and costs; plus (c) any Construction Contingency or allowances established by the City exceed the total budgeted for the Project as established by the City, then the Consultant shall, if the reason for the increase in overall costs was reasonably foreseeable at the time of performing the Professional Services under that phase , revise and/or redesign the documents at its own cost and expense to bring the designs back within the budgeted amount. 1.3.6. If requested, Consultant shall assist the City with any public outreach, public communication/information program and/or neighborhood presentations during this Phase or any other Phase of the project. Such assistance shall include the development of presentation material and attendance at public meetings. 1.3. 7. If requested by City, Consultant shall attend Board meeting( s) and may be asked to prepare and make presentation of the Preliminary Design Package and Estimated Construction Cost. Consultant will not be compensated for attendance at Board meetings unless explicitly requested in writing by City to attend. 1.4 Final Design-Construction Documents Phase If Professional Services, as detailed in a work authorization, includes design development of construction documents, then in consultation with City and on the basis of the accepted Preliminary Design Package and Estimated Construction Cost of the project, the Consultant shall prepare, for attachment to the forthcoming construction contract, final construction drawings identifying and describing the scope, extent and character of the work to be furnished and performed by contractor(s), which comply with all applicable building codes, laws and regulations (the "Final Drawings") and technical specifications (the "Technical Specifications·). and any Supplemental Conditions for construction of the Project at 60%, 90% and 100% completion. The Technical Specifications are to be prepared in conformance with the sixteen division format provided by the Construction Specifications Institute. In this regard, the Consultant shall: 1.4.1 . Prepare , for review and acceptance by the City, the City's Procurement Official and any other advisors identified by the City, a proposed schedule of bid items and Estimated Construction Cost, and assist in the preparation of other related documents upon the request of the City. Modify any aspect of such documents as requested by the City to enable the City to issue written acceptance and approval of same. 1.4.2. Propose any amendment to the Estimated Construction Cost of the Project necessitated by the Construction Drawings and Specifications . 1.4.3. Deliverables: Consultant shall : (a) Present two (2) sets of paper 60% Construetion Drawings and draft Technical Specifications, plus one set in editable electronic format (AutoCAD/Microsoft Word) for the review and comments of the City; (b) Present two (2) sets of paper 90% Construction Drawings and draft Technical Specifications, plus one set in editable electronic format (AutoCAD/Microsoft Word) for the review and comments of the City; (c) Present two (2) sets of paper 100% Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications plus one set in editable electronic format (AutoCAD/Microsoft Word) for the review and comments of the City; (d) Del iver to the City four (4) original signed and sealed sets of final Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications plus one set in electronic format (AutoCAD/Microsoft Word) (the "Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications") along with all supporting calculations; and any associated documents; (e} Schedule of bid items: (f) Any amendment to the Estimated Construction Costs. 1.5 Pennittlng Phase If the scope of Professional Services, as detailed in a work authorization, includes Permitting, then in Form -PSA CCNA Master 091914 Erdman Anthony -14919 101114 3
