Over 60 work orders have been completed to date. The objective of thes e <br />services is to work with the Village, contractors, and private developers to incorporate newly constructed or modified featur es into <br />the GIS schema. This enables staff to add this data to the Village’s GIS database. As a part of its GIS program, the Village works to <br />continually update and maintain accurate GIS data for critical infrastructure layers. These layers include property bo undaries, <br />impervious surfaces, buildings, roadways, stormwater features, water utilities, and wastewater features. This included setting primary horizontal and vertical <br />control, detailed topographic/digital terrain modeling and right of way establishment. Also included was 2 offsite boundary and <br />topographic surveys at locations needed for the design of new ponds. These projects were identified <br />to provide flood protection and ensure compliance with discharge limitations stipulated by the surface water management permit <br />issued by the South Florida Water Management District. Over 1400 structures were collected within the geodatabase. The ESRI of online feature services and <br />mapping for the cloud based distributed were used. The data collected will be used to update the city’s maintenance plan. <br />
