The <br />project is funded through the legislative appropriation process. The project includes field evaluation of <br />intersections throughout the City to determine the location of non-conforming or missing ADA ramps. These intersections had large expanses of pavement without traffic control and therefore required the <br />implementation of traffic calming features. CTA design elevated intersections, removed pavement and <br />introduced curbing to reduce speeds. <br /> <br />E | Page 19
