BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />The infrastructure improvements to the existing <br />neighborhood included new roadway, sidewalk, swale <br />regrading, drainage, landscaping, signage, domestic <br />water, and sanitary sewer. This neighborhood is <br />approximately 60 years old and the infrastructure had <br />reached the end of its useful life. The North County <br />Neighborhood Improvement Project, Northeast <br />Quadrant, Bid Package 10 included approximately 213 <br />acres of land. The project included 47,520 linear feet <br />of roadway reconstruction, and 53,460 linear feet of <br />sidewalk construction. Also included were 15,283 <br />linear feet of swale, 6,508 linear feet of storm sewer, <br />and 8,074 linear feet of exfiltration trench. Several <br />traffic calming devices were designed and constructed <br />as part of this Project. A reuse water distribution <br />system consisting of 32,900 linear feet was <br />constructed on Bid Package 10, as well as approximately 4,740 linear feet of water main, 21 water services, <br />27,755 linear feet of sanitary sewer collection and transmission lines, and 475 laterals.
