Smith, P.E., Senior Vice President & COO/Owner, will serve as the QA/QC Officer for this project. Mr. Smith's responsibilities include management of daily business operations for the 40+ member civil engineering and surveying firm with gross sales of $5.5+ million. He oversees all areas of business including engineering, surveying, construction management services, accounting and human resources. Specifically, Mr. Smith oversees all transportation/ roadway projects including studies, reports and design. He ensures proper allocation of resources, staffing, financial management, quality control and timely project completion. Gene R. Schriner, P.E., President/Owner, will serve as the Project Director. Mr. Schriner is responsible for the business development of the 40+ member civil engineering and surveying firm with gross sales of $5.5 million. Mr. Schriner initiates business development opportunities and provides conceptual planning as well as County/City/District Engineer and client coordination. He supervises and manages the Governmental and Utility Consulting Department. Mr. Schriner is a licensed civil engineer and has over thirty-five (35) years of experience in the Civil and Utility Engineering fields in South Florida. Mr. Schriner was also involved with securing and developing over 25 municipal clients throughout South Florida for the company. Mr. Schriner has been directly involved with the development of three (3) 80 acre+ industrial parks including water, sewer, paving and drainage design and project funding. Mr. Schriner directed the production of numerous stormwater and utility master plans for governmental clients. James Orth, P.E., Vice President of Engineering, will serve as the Project Manager. Mr. Orth has extensive project management experience in water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater management and road system improvements. Mr. Orth has designed and managed all aspects of the design and construction of land development and municipal projects including water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater management and road systems. These projects varied in size and complexity from single -use to projects of developmental impacts. Mr. Orth has also functioned as contracted City and County Engineer performing site plan reviews and reviews of contract documents and specifications prepared by third party consultants. Mr. Orth managed the detailed plan preparation, permitting and development of several of the individual residential neighborhoods for the Walnut Creek Subdivision and CDD in the City of Pembroke Pines. Each of the neighborhood development phases focused on the development of residential lots along with the associated infrastructure (roads, water distribution, wastewater collection and drainage) design.
