Most projects shall include a pre -design conference to establish the project contact with the city, regulating agency and CAS. From this meeting a detailed project schedule will be created, including a Schedule of Values. This will be updated through the project design/construction process. Design team updates will be provided on a regular basis as requested by the city to all involved with the project. Status of each milestone identified at the initial project "kick-off" meeting will be provided on a monthly basis with an updated project schedule. The CAS process will be a methodical and timely approach. CAS's unified "in-house" design approach along with its unique utility locating capabilities allows for accurate design deliverables at an accelerated schedule and within budget (i.e., 60% design plan deliverables at traditional 30% design phase). The established goals identified in the project initiation will be implemented through the construction phase of the project as necessary.
