City of Sunny Isles Beach RFQ No. 18-08-01 | Consulting Engineering Services for Golden Shores Utility Undergrounding and Roadway Improvements (CCNA)
<br />QUALIFICATION INFORMATION AND ASSIGNED PERSONNEL
<br />We have assembled a team of qualified professionals who have completed projects of similar scope, who possess the diversity of technical skills required for execution of this project, and who have a full understanding of the requirements and intricacies of this project. The team is fully committed to dedicating the necessary manpower, expertise, and attentiveness to ensure that Sunny Isles Beach meets its objectives for this large undergrounding and roadway improvements project.
<br />The CGA team will be led by Curt Keyser, Director of Civil Engineering, who will be supported by the roadway task leader, Jenna Martinetti, P.E.. Mr. Keyser will be the contract and project manager while Mrs. Martinetti will be the lead coordinator for all the activities with the team. Under their management, there will be continuous communication with the City’s Project Manager and staff to update them on project status and progress. Mrs. Martinetti will be responsible for allocating resources for the CGA team. Mr. Keyser and Mrs. Martinetti have been operating successfully together in these roles for more than four (4) years and have a proven record of success and great communication with each other and more importantly, with the City.
<br />PRINCIPAL-IN-CHARGE AND PROJECT MANAGER
<br />Curt A. Keyser, PEMr. Keyser has more than 28 years of leadership, management, and engineering experience. He possesses solid experience and proven success in managing complex operations, cross-functional teams, and million-dollar budgets. He is equally effective as a leader and key contributor. He applies a hands-on, participatory approach to team management that celebrates employee success and provides ongoing feedback for improvement. Mr. Keyser maintains effective balance between big picture, strategic thinking and a focus on the details necessary for program execution. Mr. Keyser recently served as a consultant to Key Biscayne assisting them with their utility undergrounding contracting, has written a white paper for the Town of Surfside’s undergrounding and overseen roadway projects with extensive utility coordination.
<br />ROADWAY/DRAINAGE
<br />Jenna Martinetti, PEMrs. Martinetti has 14 years of engineering experience and has managed projects related to roadway, stormwater, park retrofits, water and wastewater infrastructure improvements. Her experience includes design and permitting of stormwater management systems, water mains, sewage force mains, lift stations, fuel stations, and site design as well as permitting, preparation of specifications and bidding documents, engineering during construction and project close-out. She also assists in grant writing and supporting documentation for Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant applications.
<br />Specifically, Mrs. Martinetti’s roadway design experience includes design for milling and resurfacing, widening, reconstruction, neighborhood enhancement safety improvement projects, drainage improvements and retrofits, ADA upgrades and compliance, signing and pavement markings, traffic control plans, complete streets incorporation and storm water pollution prevention control plans for municipal and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) funded projects. As part of her role as Engineer of Record (EOR) and project manager for roadway projects, she has coordinated utility relocations, utility work schedules, and utility undergrounding. She is certified in the Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) design and has extensive experience with JPA’s and Local Agency Program (LAP) projects including MPO Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Community Incentive Grant Project (CIGP) projects.
<br />Mrs. Martinetti recently successfully coordinated a major relocation of FPL overhead lines in order to construct a new roundabout on Nova Drive, a relocation of FPL and Comcast in Hallandale Beach to accommodate a new drainage pump station, and coordinated the undergrounding of FPL, Comcast, AT&T and City street lighting on Iris Terrace on Hollywood beach. Additionally, Mrs. Martinetti has experience with roadway enhancements projects. She recently completed two projects in the Town of Davie, which incorporated complete streets concepts to enhance the corridors by adding landscaped medians, new lighting, widening sidewalks and adding bike lanes. The design and procurement of both of these projects were completed within FDOT’s schedule.
