<br />Mohammed Sharifuzzaman, PEMr. Sharifuzzaman has more than 16 years of professional experience in civil, environmental, and transportation engineering with specialization in hydraulics and hydrologic modeling (H&H), surface water management system design, drainage basin/watershed modeling and floodplain analysis, master drainage study, conceptual/master surface water management system design, stormwater pump station design, stormwater retrofit projects, nutrient loading analysis (TMDL calculations), Stormwater Treatment Area (STA) design, FDOT roadway drainage design, and bridge hydraulics. His extensive experience includes roadway projects including new construction, widening and reconstruction, RRR and safety improvement projects, and PD&E studies. Mr. Sharifuzzaman has worked extensively with permitting agencies including the Broward County Environmental Protection and Growth Management (BCEPGM), South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), various municipalities, and counties. His trusted reputation with the permitting agencies has produced a long list of successful and profitable projects.
<br />Mr. Sharifuzzaman successfully designed and permitted the drainage systems for the improvements to the Rickenbacker Causeway, the Davie Road Phase 1 and Phase 2 roadway projects, and Hallandale Beach SW Drainage project, all of which included environmental permitting with more than one agency as well as the local municipality.
<br />Matt Iles, EIMr. Iles is a design engineer with over three (3) years of experience in stormwater infrastructure, roadway improvements, water, and wastewater projects in the South Florida area. Specific designs include improvements to stormwater runoff disposal systems in the City of Hallandale Beach, drainage improvements and tidal water impact reduction in the City of Fort Lauderdale, and the design of private stormwater collection and treatment systems for residential and commercial properties. Mr. Iles has recently completed the paving, grading, and drainage design for two major roadway corridor projects providing enhancements to the aesthetics and upgrades to the drainage system.
<br />UTILITY COORDINATION
<br />Nicholas Mahon, PEMr. Mahon has 12 years of engineering experience and has worked on multi-disciplinary, design-bid, and design-bid-build projects in the Mid-Atlantic and Southern regions. Mr. Mahon’s design experience includes site development, ADA accessibility, stormwater management, utility design, roadway deign, comprehensive master plans and investigations of storm and sanitary systems. His roadway design experience includes extensive utility coordination for complete streets projects including milling and resurfacing, widening, reconstruction, ADA upgrades, drainage improvements, signing and pavement markings, traffic control plans, and stormwater pollution prevention control plans.
<br />Mr. Mahon is currently a project manager for a LAP project for the City of Oakland Park, which required FPL coordination to add landscaped medians, bike lanes, and widen sidewalks to enhance the Andrews Avenue corridor. He is also the PM for the Tamarac Bike Lanes LAP projects and the Davie Road Phase 1 County CIGP and Phase 2 LAP projects, both of which provided major corridor enhancements on this important thoroughfare for the Town of Davie. Due to limited R/W, unavoidable conflicts with FPL and TECO Peoples gas required coordination during design and utility work schedules. These LAP projects required the FDOT utility coordination process to be followed with initial, follow-up and confirmation letters to be sent to all UOA’s.
<br />Jose Jimenez Mr. Jimenez has 22 years of experience in the electrical engineering field. He has experience in electrical design of residential, commercial, and industrial projects as per NEC/NFPA standards and local building department requirements including; load, short circuit, and arc-fault calculations; His most recent experience includes photometric studies and lighting designs for parks and roadway corridors, equipment and material recommendations, and electrical designs for pump stations. He has experience in processing plans, permitting, inspections processes and methods in the Miami-Dade and Broward County municipalities. Mr. Jimenez is responsible for budgeting and managing construction schedules, as well as the coordination of all logistics, including materials, tools, and labor in order to meet service quality.
<br />Mr. Jimenez has recently completed the lighting design for Andrews Avenue and Nova Drive, both complete streets projects incorporating existing lighting while upgrading the overall corridor
