BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT <br /> <br />Alan Gerwig & Associates (AGA) provided structural engineering services for this project through <br />Calvin Giordano & Associates and Cardinal Construction as part of the Design-Build Contract with <br />Palm Beach County Water Utilities. <br /> <br />AGA analyzed the existing raised slab for the addition of the third degasifier and designed the <br />equipment pad and anchoring for the new degasifier and blower housing on the raised slab. AGA also <br />designed a new opening in the wall under the degasifier and provided specifications for the other <br />incidental equipment such as ladders, walkways, etc. <br /> <br />In addition, AGA designed a slab on grade and anchoring for the replacement odor scrubber, which <br />was constructed as part of this project. <br /> <br /> <br />25.
