<br />ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
<br />Jorge Cervantes, PEMr. Cervantes has 29 years of experience in designing lighting, power, mechanical and plumbing system for parks, manufacturing, commercial, residential and educational buildings, engineering project fee estimates, lighting consultant expert witness. His experience includes lighting verification and/or recertification of recreational parks, parking structures and outdoor parking areas. Mr. Gonzalez has provided drainage design and calculations to support the Hallandale beach and Natalie’s Cove projects.
<br />Jose Jimenez Mr. Jimenez has 22 years of experience in the electrical engineering field. He has experience in electrical design of residential, commercial, and industrial projects as per NEC/NFPA standards and local building department requirements including; load, short circuit, and arc-fault calculations; His most recent experience includes photometric studies and lighting designs for parks and roadway corridors, equipment and material recommendations, and electrical designs for pump stations. He has experience in processing plans, permitting, inspections processes and methods in the Miami-Dade and Broward County municipalities. Mr. Jimenez is responsible for budgeting and managing construction schedules, as well as the coordination of all logistics, including materials, tools, and labor in order to meet service quality.
<br />Mr. Jimenez has recently completed the electrical engineering design for the Hallandale SW Drainage project which included design of the emergency generator, pump station and control structure power, power and communication at each drainage well and overall building electrical. His experience working with FPL during design has allowed for any necessary relocations and adjustments to occur prior to construction starting thereby eliminating contractor delay claims due to FPL related items.
<br />MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
<br />Jim Har t, PEMr. Hart is a Professional Engineer with significant experience in all major phases of equipment and system design for a wide array of process industries. Experienced in scrubbing technology (HCl, H2S, NOx, ethanol, ethylene oxide, emergency chlorine, odor control, steel pickling lines) and anaerobic digesters, filtration and evaporation. Experienced in water pollution remediation, ozone application, UV
<br />sterilization, and thermo oxidation. Demonstrated ability to organize work and manage major projects to meet cost and schedule deadlines. Possesses a unique blend of engineering, CAD and computer programming knowledge and experience.
<br />PERMITTING
<br />Sandra Lee, AICP, CEP, LEED AP BD+C, CGMMs. Lee has over 25 years of professional experience and heads up CGA’s Environmental Department coordinating regulatory permitting, environmental planning, site assessment, resource management and environmental technical support services. In general, Ms. Lee provides environmental permitting services at the local, state and federal level, coordinates interagency and multi-disciplinary team efforts, provides tree mitigation plans and tree removal permitting services, conducts wetland delineations and wetland functional assessments, designs mitigation, provides bidding and construction oversight services for the construction and installation of mitigation areas, provides technical support, environmental resource management and environmental planning services to municipalities, provides benthic assessments and habit reports, and benthic mitigation plans, manages field staff conducting wildlife and habitat assessments, imperiled species surveys, and compliance monitoring. Ms. Lee also provides sustainability and floodplain management services.
<br />James Messick, PEMr. Messick has over 14 years of combined experience within both the private and public sector of civil engineering within the south Florida region. His responsibilities include design of septic/lift stations, large scale stormwater management systems, sewage collection and transmission systems, water distribution systems, roadway and associated drainage improvements, general site development for both public and private engineering projects, construction cost estimates, and feasibility studies, along with the permitting of stormwater management systems, utilities and local roadway improvements to Florida Department of Transportation, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and Florida Department of Health, along with applicable south Florida counties, municipalities and local agencies, and detailed experience with engineering services during construction.
