A&P CONSULTING TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERS, CORP. <br />GOLDEN SHORES PUMP STATION REHABILITATION (CCNA) <br />RFQ 18-11-01 <br />2 <br />• Existing driveway needs to be regraded based on FEMA Flood Elevation requirements• Existing drainage structures at the pump station site should be raised• Accessibility to the existing pump station equipment is from the top of the existing structures• Roof of the existing station is leaking• Existing Sluice Gate is leaking• There is no automatic control system to control the existing pump station • Scada system or similar needs to be added to the existing station• The existing back flow prevention (check valve) at the outfall pipe is not working <br />All of these deficiencies will be addressed, and several alternative solutions will be discussed with the City’s Project Manager through a Basis of Design Report (BODR) as APCTE has successfully done in the past for many projects. Cost and benefits of all alternatives will be documented in order to define the best rehabilitation solution for the Golden Shores Pump Station. Our Team has already developed four (4) preliminary rehabilitation alternatives that are described in Section D of this Technical Proposal: <br />• Alternative 1: Consists of refurbishing the entire building structure; installing two louver doors; replacement of metal roof and relocating generator outside the building. • Alternative 2: Consists of refurbishing the entire building structure; demolish electrical room; Installing one louver door; replacement of metal roof and relocating generator outside the building.• Alternative 3: Consists of refurbishing only the northwest portion of the building (Control structure); demolishing the above ground portion of the existing wet well structure and electrical/generator room and relocating generator outside the building. • Alternative 4: Consists of refurbishing only the northwest portion of the building (Control structure); demolishing the above ground portion of the existing wet well structure and electrical/generator room and relocating generator outside the building. <br />In order to successfully accomplish the proposed rehabilitation plan, we have assembled a Team based on proven records in delivering complex pump station projects. Our professionals will provide the City the expertise in all
