BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />The Pump Station 0437 is located at 19091 NW 62nd Avenue, Miami, <br />Florida 33015; in Section 01, Township 52, Range 40, Miami-Dade County, <br />Florida. The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and <br />equipment necessary to upgrade Sewage Pump Station No. 0437, <br />including, but not limited to, providing uninterrupted by-pass pumping <br />capabilities for the existing pump station flow during all construction <br />times and until the new pump station is completely operational and <br />accepted by the Owner; demolition of existing force mains; partial <br />demolition of the existing pump station including, but not limited to the <br />following: the existing instrumentation and control panels, pumps, piping, <br />valves, fittings, hardware, appurtenances, conduits, and all other items <br />inside dry well deemed necessary to be removed for the successful <br />installation of the new pumps, piping, valve, fittings, ventilation system <br />(supply and exhaust fans), water seal system, etc as indicated in plans; <br />site preparation and clearing and grubbing of project area as necessary; <br />furnish and install new force mains along with associated connections; <br />furnish and install new dual 60 HP Yeomans Pumps or approved equal and <br />all associated piping, fittings, equipment, hardware, and appurtenances <br />for the new discharge and emergency connection; connection to existing <br />12-inch force main; furnish and install new control panel, main <br />disconnect, dry type transformer, power and control conduits and wiring, <br />and the required mounting structures. Furnish and install disconnect <br />switch, new dry type transformer, electrical panel inside the existing <br />generator room and a replace the electrical service feeder to the <br />proposed pump station; site restoration; start up and testing of pump station; and other appurtenant and miscellaneous <br />items and work for a complete, satisfactory and functional installation.
