<br />Gene R. Schriner, P.E., President, has over 40 years experience and is responsible for the business
<br />development of the 40 member civil engineering and surveying firm with gross sales of over $5.0
<br />million. Mr. Schriner initiates business development opportunities, provides client coordination and
<br />manages client contracts while overseeing daily operations of the firm. Mr. Schriner has also been
<br />involved with securing and developing over 20 municipal client contracts throughout South Florida. Mr.
<br />Schriner has extensive experience with the conceptual design and planning of water distribution and
<br />wastewater transmission/collection and/or treatment plant projects. Mr. Schriner managed the master
<br />planning, modeling, design and construction of approximately 114 miles of 4%12" water mains
<br />throughout the Port LaBelle area in Hendry County to supply potable water service to local residents. Mr.
<br />Schriner also managed the preliminary planning, design, bidding and construction oversight of 91,200
<br />linear feet of 12"-30" water distribution mains as part of Palm Beach County Water Utility's Lake Region
<br />12" Water Main Transmission Project to serve the cities of Pahokee, Belle Glade and South Bay. In
<br />addition, Mr. Schriner managed the construction of the Moore Haven Phase 1 -III Sewer System
<br />Improvements which included the construction of a 90,000 GPD wastewater treatment plant, two (2)
<br />master pump stations, over two (2) miles of gravity sewer collection system and two (2) miles of force
<br />main. In addition, Mr. Schriner managed the design and construction and provided quality
<br />assurance/quality control reviews for the stormwater system improvements for the City of Moore Haven
<br />which consisted of two (2) stormwater pump stations, gravity and force main stormwater pipe
<br />installation. As County Engineer for Okeechobee County, District Engineer for Spring Lake Improvement
<br />District and Sunshine Water Control District, Mr. Schriner has been responsible for the direction of all
<br />County and District related projects including development review, County and District wide stormwater
<br />improvements as well as local and state roadway improvements. Mr. Schriner has been directly involved
<br />with the development of three (3) 80 acre+ industrial parks including water, sewer, paving and drainage
<br />design and project funding. Mr. Schriner directed the production of numerous utility master plans for
<br />lake communities.
<br />Stephen C. Smith, P.E., Senior Vice President & COO, responsibilities include management of daily
<br />business operations for 40 member civil engineering and surveying firm with gross sales of $5.0 million.
<br />Mr. Smith oversee all areas of business including engineering, surveying, construction management
<br />services, accounting and human resources, more specifically oversees pipeline projects and all
<br />transportation/roadway and stormwater/drainage projects including studies, reports and design. He
<br />ensures proper allocation of resources, staffing, financial management, quality control and timely
<br />project completion. Mr. Smith managed the survey, utility locating, design and construction of
<br />approximately 14,500 linear feet of drainage pipe ranging in size from 16" to 72", 205 drainage
<br />structures and 7 outfalls for the Town of Golden Beach as part of the Town's Phase III and IV stormwater
<br />improvements. In addition, Mr. Smith was responsible for the master planning, project management,
<br />resource allocation and quality assurance for the stormwater design, as well as the project management
<br />during construction (which included stormwater pump stations) for the City of Sweetwater (6 stormwater
<br />pump stations), Miami -Dade (3 stormwater pump stations) and the Town of Pembroke Park (2
<br />stormwater pump stations). He has extensive local experience in the design and management of
<br />stormwater improvement projects.
<br />James R. Orth, P.E., Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Orth has extensive design and construction
