The project is a Capital <br />Improvement Project structured as a design/build with Lanzo Construction. CAS was <br />responsible for the drainage system, roadway design and harmonization components <br />of the CIP. The design incorporated engineering techniques to reduce future sea level <br />rises such as elevating the existing roadways, increasing the size of the drainage <br />system, providing water quality, installing three (3) pump stations and backflow <br />prevention devices to avoid extreme high tides from re-entering the systems. Work <br />also included electric and communication line conversion from overhead to <br />underground on Hibiscus Island. <br />i <br />
