Millage Resolution (Public Hearing) <br />A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach of Miami-Dade, <br />County, Florida, Establishing the City of Sunny Isles Beach Ad Valorem Tax Millage <br />Levy Rate at 2.8860 Mills per One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) of Taxable Assessed Value <br />Which is 4.17% More than the "Rolled Back" Rate of 2.7706 Mills, for Fiscal Year <br />201112012; Providing for an Effective Date. <br />(First Hearing September 6,2011) <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Manager Alan Cohen reported noting that <br />the millage rate has not changed from the prior year. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: none <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Thaler moved and Commissioner Aelion seconded a motion to approve the <br />resolution. Resolution No. 2011-1781 was adopted by a voice vote of5-0 in favor, at 6:05 <br />p.m. <br />
