<br />Terminal Wide People Mover System: A dedicated pedestrian circulation system and related improvements
<br />being constructed in nine phases over a period of approximately ten years. This project, when completed,
<br />will link pedestrian circulation throughout the Terminal building, the Concourses, and the Parking Garages,
<br />utilizing new elevators, escalators and over three miles of moving sidewalks.
<br />MIC MIA Station Complex: Project involvement began by producing original planning concepts and graphic
<br />exhibits for MDAD to assist in the effort of funding. The current design responsibilities include: 1.
<br />Modifications to MIC Station design to accommodate heavy rail technology. 2. Modifications to Parking
<br />Garage No. 6 to accommodate guide way alignment. 3. Guide way design interface with CCP.
<br />Ground Transportation Improvements Project - This collection of 10 separate projects will assist M.I.A.'s
<br />landside environment to meet access demand through year 2015. Project elements include: new upper
<br />drive approach road and ramp; upper & lower drive widening; upper drive courtesy vehicle stops; a new
<br />1,500 car parking garage; 16 lane central revenue collection plaza; 2 -level 16 vehicle central bus station
<br />serving 3.5 million airport/seaport passenger movements. $175,000,000
