Montoya, P.E. <br />SDM, Electrical Engineer <br />• 27 years of experience in Electrical Engineering <br />• Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer <br />• Principal in charge of the Firm's managerial decisions <br />Licenses and Certifications <br />State of Florida Professional Engineer PE 66220 <br />Experience <br />President of SDM Consulting Engineers, Inc. <br />Mr. Montoya is the Principal responsible for ensuring that all individual design departments have <br />the necessary resources for the timely completion of project tasks. <br />Education <br />BSEE 1989, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Florida International University <br />Professional Organizations <br />IAEI (International Association of Electrical Inspectors) <br />SAVE International <br />Relevant Experience <br />MIC Earlington Heights Connector <br />Mr. Montoya participated in the Electrical Engineering design of this project involving a connector <br />between the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) and the Earlington Heights Metrorail Station (EHT) for <br />the improvement of the existing transportation system by providing a transit connection to Miami <br />International Airport. <br />MIA Regional Commuter Facility <br />Mr. Montoya worked on the Electrical design of this 68,000 square foot commuter facility for <br />American Airlines at Miami International Airport. The scope of work involves a new 3 -story <br />addition, contiguous with and extending the existing North Terminal Concourse. This work will <br />include a new covered walkway to extend from the concourse to access small commuter planes. <br />MIA Automated People Mover (APM) Maintenance and Storage Facility <br />Mr. Montoya was one of the Electrical Engineers responsible for the Electrical Engineering design of <br />this APM maintenance and storage facility and main control room for said train system.
