APPROACH / METHODOLOGY Sunny Isles Pedestrian Crossing Bridge Approach Lynx Construction Management will bring a team that has expert knowledge of the local working environment and the unique needs of government in the design -build process. Our staff and designers have a proven track record working in the South Florida area including major agencies and municipalities and institutions. We are currently working with FDOT, Town of Surfside, and City of Miami Beach- Jewish Community Services. We understand the reporting, project control and local wage requirement. As the design - builder we will create a partnership between the owner, architect and construction team to provide the best value project for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Our emphasis on service will begin in the pre- construction phase and include coordination with all agencies having jurisdiction. It will continue through closeout to the end of the warranty period. We expect to create a long term relationship with the City that continues past the end of this project. Leadership and Mutual Goals Our senior staff has over three billion dollars of public sector design and construction experience and will bring that expertise and knowledge of public sector owner's needs to the project. This will streamline the planning, review, permitting and approval processes to keep the project on -time and within budget. We will provide the City with all of the information and support required to properly communicate project status to the community and the City Commission. Lynx Construction Management with the Owner will use our team approach to develop a project that meets our mutual goal of building a pedestrian crossing which will provide safe passage for people accessing the Gateway Park development and surrounding areas offering the best value engineering cost savings to the City. Collaborative Approach Lynx uses a collaborative approach which involves the entire team in all important decisions. It ensures that communication takes place regularly and that all important information is available to team members when needed. We use web based tools to maintain an environment that fosters effective communication. Our clients /owners, designers, and construction team are all provided access to our collaboration tools. 1 Design Philosophy for Sunny Isles Pedestrian Bridge Lynx will work with the City and MC Harry, our Architect, to develop a design approach in keeping with the beauty and environment of "Florida's Riviera ". Our team will listen closely and learn the needs of the City and the community. We will provide a structure that addresses the local values, function and aesthetics of the City. Our project will be on -time and in- budget.
