11 <br />patching Chefs microphone feed into the Banquet Hall area shall only be possible by authorized <br />personnel via Crestron control touch screen located at the AV racks. <br />Banquet Hall 117 <br />128. All audio-visual equipment used for the Banquet Hall shall be located inside the AV <br />racks. <br />129. Banquet Hall shall feature three 9000 Lumens native WUXGA laser projectors that shall <br />be placed inside the respective ceiling lifts. In addition, there shall also be three 130" diagonal <br />recessed behind the ceiling beam tensioned 16:10 ratio electric screens, 30 ceiling mounted <br />speakers, 2 ceiling mounted subwoofers, 10" wall mounted Crestron control touch screen and <br />multimedia podium with gooseneck microphone and 7" Crestron control touch screen <br />permanently attached at the top surface. Space shall also feature T -coil hearing loop system for <br />hearing impaired with the coil installed under the carpet as well as multiple wireless <br />microphones and streaming audio Bluetooth connectivity. <br />130. Each projector and each ceiling lift shall have its own dedicated 20 Amp power circuit <br />provided by GC/EC as per architect's specifications. Lifts and projectors along with required <br />hardware shall be black. <br />131. Banquet Hall shall require plenum enclosures for all 3 projector lifts as well as 2 large <br />ceiling mounted subwoofers that shall be provided and installed by the AV vendor. Plenum <br />enclosures must be securely attached to the upper deck in accordance to the industry best <br />practices and local building codes. Subwoofers shall be placed near the 2 end projector lifts <br />ceiling access panels to allow for ease of future servicing. <br />132. Projectors and its lifts shall be controlled via Creston control system. Projector lifts shall <br />have 2 preset positions (projection mode and service mode). Projection mode shall keep the <br />projector as high as possible and close to the ceiling. Service mode shall allow service of the <br />projector at 3' AFF. <br />133. 3 projector lifts operation override switches shall be located at the AV rack inside the AV <br />closet. <br />134. Projector lifts ceiling access panels for each projector shall be provided and installed by <br />GC in accordance with architect's drawings and approval. Each panel shall measure not less than <br />2'x 2' and shall allow projector lift service, as needed. <br />135. AV vendor must secure projection lifts and electric screens to the upper deck in <br />accordance to the industry safety standards. <br />136. Projection screens shall not have respective wall switches installed (controlled via touch <br />screens or iPad only). <br />137. 2 vacancy sensors shall be installed at the ceiling area near the end projector lifts access <br />panels and they shall allow for the AV system to shutoff automatically 15 minutes upon room <br />vacancy (exact time shall be coordinated with the City). Both sensors shall be painted in black by <br />the AV integrator to match other ceiling decor. <br />138. Bluetooth sensor shall be installed at the ceiling area by the middle projector lift ceiling <br />access panel and it shall be black. It shall allow for audio Bluetooth connections with compatible <br />devices. Its paring mode shall be controlled via Crestron control touch screens or iPad. <br />11 <br />Appendix A - AV Overview and Scope of Work <br />
