96. Floor box connections shall be ready to use regardless of the podium being attached to it or not. <br />97. Multimedia podium shall be custom built and shall be similar to shape and size of the Coalesse <br />Exponents Lectern but must adopt the AV technology, as specified. Millwork shop drawings shall <br />be required for City's approval prior manufacturing of the podium. Podium shall feature, cable <br />management, recessed locking wheels, lockable equipment compartment, large laptop slanted <br />top surface, Crestron cable cubby and 24" gooseneck microphone with shock mount. Finish of <br />the podium shall be coordinated with the architect. <br />98. Crestron cable cubby shall be flush mounted at the top of the podium and shall feature <br />convenience AC power outlet, USB -A and USB -C charging ports, HDMI gravity cable retractor, <br />USB -C gravity cable retractor and RJ45 network gravity cable retractor. HDMI and USB -C <br />retractable cables shall be used for laptop connectivity and the signal shall be routed <br />automatically via included 4 -port HDMI auto switcher located inside the podium. User shall not <br />be required to select the type of the cable being connected to their laptop. <br />99. Crestron control touch screen shall feature the following AV sources: Podium cubby, Wireless <br />presentation and Cable TV. Audio -only sources shall be independently mixed in over any of the <br />selected AV sources and they shall be: Bluetooth streaming, Gooseneck microphone, Wireless <br />Handheld Microphone and Wireless Lavaliere Microphone. <br />100. Wireless presentation (Crestron AirMedia) shall also be possible via any device <br />connected to the local Wi-Fi network. AV vendor shall assist City IT staff with LAN setup of this <br />device. <br />101. Crestron control touch screen shall also recall presets of the Lutron lighting control <br />system, provided and programmed by the lighting contractor. Lutron system interface location <br />shall be determined at later point. <br />102. Evoko Liso room scheduling touch screen shall be installed on the wall by the main <br />entrance at 60" AFF or as per architect's drawings and guidance. AV vendor shall assist City IT <br />staff with room scheduling system setup and integration with mail server. <br />103. Large Classroom shall be standalone type and shall not be connected to the other AV <br />systems. <br />Classroom 111 /Catering Kitchen 112/Banquet Hall 117/AV closet 119/North East Covered Patio <br />104. Cooking classroom, kitchen and banquet hall systems are all connected and utilize the <br />same audio-visual platform. Any audiovisual source regardless of its location, shall be routable <br />to any or all projectors and displays. This feature shall allow for a true two-way AV overflow <br />between all areas. Master signal routing shall be only be available at the AV racks via Crestron <br />10" control touch screen or 9.7" iPad located inside the AV closet 119. All other Crestron control <br />touch screens shall only have control of their respective areas. <br />105. All audio-visual equipment for the above areas shall be centralized and located at the <br />AV racks inside the AV closet. <br />Appendix A - AV Overview and Scope of Work <br />
