Gateway Park Center PERKINS+WILL <br /> 810495.00 <br />12/06/18 <br />033000-37 Cast-In-Place <br />Concrete <br />2.Ramps: Scored finish as applied perpendicular to direction of main traffic <br />route immediately after float finishing. <br />3.Finish surface to overall value of SOFF=20 and SOFL=15. <br />4.Texture shall be approved by the Design Professionals from sample <br />panels. <br />E.Finish for interior floor slab surfaces exposed to view and slab surfaces to be <br />covered with resilient flooring, carpet, ceramic or quarry tile on thick-set mortar, <br />paint or another thin film-finish coating system, as indicated on architectural <br />Drawings: <br />1.Trowel Finish. <br />a)After floating, begin first trowel-finish operation using a power- <br />driven trowel. <br />b)Begin final troweling when surface produces a ringing sound as <br />trowel is moved over surface. <br />c)The final hand-troweling operation shall result in a smooth <br />surface, free of trowel marks, uniform in texture and appearance. <br />d)Grind smooth any surface defects that would telegraph through <br />applied floor covering system. <br />2.Finish surface to overall value of SOFF=25 and SOFL=20. <br />3.Floor Slopes: Where drains occur, slope floor slabs uniformly to drains, <br />maintaining scheduled slab thickness. <br />4.Floor Edges at Expansion Joints: Tool edges minimum 3/8" (10mm). <br />5.Defects: Remove defects of sufficient magnitude to show through floor <br />covering by grinding. <br />6.Floor Hardener: Use only where scheduled and in accordance with <br />manufacturer's published instructions. <br />7.Dry Cement: Shall not be used during finishing. <br />F.Finish for thin set ceramic tile or thin set epoxy terrazzo, as indicated on <br />architectural Drawings: <br />1.Trowel and Fine Broom Finish: <br />a)Apply a trowel finish as specified. <br />b)Immediately follow by slightly scarifying the surface with a fine <br />broom. <br />2.Finish surface to overall value of SOFF=35 and SOFL=25. <br />G.Finishes for Parking Garage Deck, Ramps, Loading Docks: <br />1.Highway straight edge immediately after screeding concrete. <br />2.Finish surface to overall values of SOFF=20 and SOFL=15. <br />3.For Slabs Not Receiving Deck Coating: Medium broom finish with ridges <br />not to exceed 1/8" (3mm) in height. Texture shall be as approved by the <br />Design Professionals from sample panels.
