Gateway Park Center PERKINS+WILL <br /> 810495.00 <br />12/06/18 <br />033000-38 Cast-In-Place <br />Concrete <br />4.For Slabs Scheduled to Receive Deck Coating: Smooth floated finish <br />which must be verified with coating manufacturer before finishing the <br />slab. <br />a)Coordinate with deck coating specified in Division 7. <br />5.Auto Ramps: Rough texture applied perpendicular to direction of traffic. <br />Texture shall be as approved by the Design Professionals from sample <br />panels. <br />H.Tolerances at Slab Discontinuities <br />1.Within 2 ft (600mm) of slab boundaries, construction joints, isolation <br />joints, block-outs, penetrations or other similar discontinuities, where <br />required for travel paths, installation of finishes and partitions, or any <br />other requirements indicated in the Contract Documents, the following <br />equivalent straightedge tolerances shall apply: <br />a)Specified local MLFF = 12, use ¼” (6mm) over 4 ft (1200mm), no <br />offset greater than 1/16” (2mm) <br />b)Specified local MLFF = 15, use 1/8” (3mm) over 4 ft (1200mm), no <br />offset greater than 1/32” (0.8mm) <br />I.Dry Shake Finish: <br />1.Non-slip aggregate where indicated on Drawings. <br />2.Non-oxidizing metallic hardener on loading docks at a rate of 1.5 lbs. per <br />sq. ft. (7.3 kg/m²) and in other locations so noted on the Drawings. <br />3.Mineral aggregate hardener at a rate of 1.2 lbs. per sq. ft. (5.8 kg/m²) <br />where noted on the Drawings. <br />4.Final finish type, method and tolerance as applicable by location and use. <br />5.Dry shake finish will be applied only where scheduled and in accordance <br />with the manufacturer's published instructions and the methods and <br />procedures agreed upon at the pre-installation conference. <br />J.Rough Formed Finish: <br />1.Acceptable for formed concrete surfaces not exposed-to-view in the finish <br />work or by other construction, unless otherwise indicated. <br />2.Concrete surface shall have texture imparted by form-facing material <br />used, with tie holes and defective areas repaired and patched, and fins <br />and other projections exceeding 1/4” (6mm) in height rubber down or <br />chipped off. <br />K.Smooth Formed Finish: <br />1.Required for formed concrete surfaces exposed to view, or scheduled to <br />be covered with a coating material applied directly to concrete, or a <br />covering material applied directly to concrete, such as waterproofing, <br />dampproofing, veneer plaster, painting, or other similar system, as <br />indicated on architectural Drawings:
