COMMUNICATIONS
PUBLIC RELATIONS, EMAIL NEWSLETTERS, FEATURE
ARTICLES, PRESS RELEASE GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION
RMA has an impressive track record for getting clients exposure – success
that will be utilized for Sunny Isles Beach in delivering an authentic message
for locals, visitors, businesses and residents based upon the positive realities
and promising vision for the future.
The RMA Business Attraction & Marketing Team creates, executes, and
monitors public relations for many of our clients, including the four
Community Redevelopment Agencies (West Palm Beach, Pompano Beach,
Margate, and Dania Beach) that we managed and administered. Marketing
services include email newsletters, feature articles, press release generation
and distribution.
CASE STUDIES — EXAMPLES OF ACHIEVING EARNED
MEDIA FOR OUR CLIENTS REDEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES
AND 4 SPECIAL EVENTS PR AND SOCIAL MEDIA
OAKLAND PARK: CULINARY ARTS DISTRICT
For Oakland Park, the RMA marketing team developed the downtown
“Culinary Arts District” brand and, along with other strategies, developed an
event series as part of the comprehensive branding initiative. In support of
that goal, and to enhance the Urban Farming Institute’s new weekly Farmers
Market, RMA capitalized on our relationship with a Sun-Sentinel food writer
and partnered to create the successful monthly Farm to Chef Showcase,
featuring local chefs on stage “performing” a live cooking demonstration
utilizing fresh ingredients from farmer market vendors.
The comprehensive strategy resulted in significant business attraction
(starting with the Funky Buddha Brewery within only weeks of the launch of
the brand) and the sale/purchase of several buildings throughout the district
– with new owners seeking restaurant/culinary tenants. All of this new
business and economic activity began with research and the development
of the marketing plan, followed by the strategic implementation process
(including communications, advertising, website and social media) and
resulted in increased press coverage, economic activity and excitement
about the opportunities in Downtown Oakland Park. In Oakland Park we
received earned media for the Farm to Chef Showcase event as well as
several redevelopment initiatives.
Oakland Park | News Coverage
Oakland Park | Discovery Farm Marketplace Rack Card
20 | RMA | Tab 2 | Qualifications | RFP No. 19-07-02
