<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH |INVITATION TO BID NO. 19-08-01 16 <br /> <br />bear all direct, indirect and consequential costs of such correction or removal (including but not <br />limited to fees and charges of engineers, architects, attorneys and other professionals) made <br />necessary thereby. <br /> <br />2.23 VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION AND PERSONELL UNIFORM/APPEARANCE <br /> <br />Contractor personnel located at Work sites must present a neat appearance, and must wear <br />distinct clothing bearing the Contractor’s name for easy identi fication. The vehicles must be <br />properly marked / identified as their company with name and/or logo. <br /> <br />2.24 EMPLOYEE TRAINING/OPERATING OF EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />The Contractor must ensure that all employees have been properly trained, certified, and/or <br />licensed to operate power equipment, power and mechanical tools, and must maintain records of <br />all training, qualifications and certifications to be made available for the City’s review upon <br />request. The Contractor must provide training to all employees, at Contractor’s e xpense, to <br />ensure the competencies in performing tasks are met to prevent the endangerment of personnel <br />or the public. Employees must not be permitted to use radios, cell phones, texting devices, mp3 <br />players, or other media devices, while operating equipment and may be subject to removal from <br />the Work site for repeated violations. Employees are prohibited from smoking during <br />performance of the Work under this Contract. <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION
