<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH |INVITATION TO BID NO. 19-08-01 18 <br /> <br />3.5 HOURS OF WORK <br /> <br />Bidder shall perform work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., unless <br />specifically authorized or requested by the City to perform work at alternate times. <br /> <br />3.6 EMPLOYEES <br /> <br />Proposer shall be responsible for the appearance of all working personnel assigned to the <br />project (clean and appropriately dressed at all times). Personnel must be able to supply <br />proper identification at all times. <br /> <br />All employees of the Proposer shall be considered to be at all times the sole employees <br />of the Proposer, under the Proposer’s sole direction, and not an employee or agent of the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach. The Proposer shall supply competent and physically capable <br />employees and the City may require the Proposer to remove any employee it deems <br />careless, incompetent, insubordinate or otherwise objectionable and whose presence on <br />City property is not in the best interest of the City. City shall not have any duty to <br />implement or enforce such requirements. <br /> <br />3.7 LOCATION OF WORK <br /> <br />The catch basins, manholes and drainage wells are located within the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach on City streets at various areas. <br /> <br />3.7.1 Exclusions <br /> <br />The Bidder shall not clean storm sewer basins and/or storm sewer manholes located on <br />State and County Roads. These State and / or county roads / streets include: <br /> Sunny Isles Beach Blvd (167th St) (SR 826) <br /> Collins Avenue <br /> William Lehman Causeway (SR 856) (SR A1A) <br /> <br />3.8 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Services may include but not be limited to the following: <br /> <br />3.8.1 Facility maintenance <br /> Proposer shall provide all labor, equipment and materials required to clean <br />catch basin/manhole sumps, storm water wells structures, as well as <br />drainage lines (36” and under) connecting to/emanating catch <br />basins/manholes and disposal of sediment. <br /> <br /> Well screens within drainage wells shall be removed, cleared of debris and <br />reinstalled on the well head upon completion of work. Damaged well screens <br />shall be replaced. <br />
