<br />JANITORIAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES | Bid No. 19-08-02 19 <br /> <br />3.4 LOCATIONS OF WORK & CLEANING SCHEDULES <br /> <br />o Government Center (also known as City Hall) (18070 Collins Ave) – ATTACHMENT A <br />The total area for this facility is approximately 54,000 square feet. Complete Janitorial services by <br />experienced and reliable personnel will be required Monday thru Friday, after 6:00pm for the <br />Government Center except the Library and Lobby areas. The Library and Lobby areas will require <br />service Monday through Saturday, after 6:00 pm except Saturday when an earlier start <br />time may be permissible. The Police Department, Code Department and Ocean Rescue areas, <br />located on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor, will require service, Monday through Sunday, after 6 pm. Included <br />in the square footage above is the Post Office (approximately 1,200 square feet) and the Library <br />(approximately 7,500 square feet). Please note, the Post Office hours are Monday – Friday <br />8:45 AM – 4:15 PM, the cleaning at this location must take place between these hours, <br />access to this location will not be available after-hours. <br /> <br />o Public Works Modular (19160 Collins Avenue) – ATTACHMENT A <br />The total area for this facility is approximately 1,000 square feet. Complete Janitorial services by <br />experienced and reliable personnel will be required Monday thru Sunday, from 5:00pm – 8:00 <br />PM (except for waxing days). <br /> <br />o Commission Chambers (Government Center (also known as City Hall) – ATTACMENT A <br />Cleanings should take place every Wednesday after 5:00 PM. <br /> <br />o Pelican Community Park (Gymnasium) (18115 N Bay Road) – ATTACHMENT B <br />The total area for this facility is approximately 25,600 square feet. Complete Janitorial services by <br />experienced and reliable personnel will be required Monday thru Sunday, after 9:00pm. <br />Included in the square footage above is the Community Center (approximately 15,200 square feet <br />including offices) and the Gymnasium (approximately 10,400 square feet). <br /> <br />In the event a scheduled activity in the facility interferes with the normal service schedule, cleaning <br />times will be arranged after such activity is over. It will be the contractor's sole responsibility to <br />ensure areas are cleaned at such schedules deemed appropriate by the City. The City reserves the <br />right to change the cleaning schedule as may be required. There will be no cost or charge to City <br />associated with such changes. <br /> <br />PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CUSTODIAL CLOSETS MUST REMAIN CLEAN AND <br />STOCKED WITH SUPPLIES AT ALL TIMES. FAILURE TO KEEP CUSTODIAL <br />CLOSET STOCKED WILL RESULT IN A PENALTY OUTLINED IN SECTION 2.8 <br /> <br />3.5 GENERAL CLEANING SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />A. RESTROOMS <br /> <br />Restroom cleaning is understood to have the highest priority. Clean and service all <br />restrooms as specified. Wash urinals, toilets, sinks, towel dispensers, hand dryers, soap dispensers, <br />toilet paper holders, baby changing stations, ledges, sills, rails, and mirrors with approved non- <br />scratching, non-sticking, non-acid cleaners and disinfectants.
