Bid No. 19-08-02
Janitorial Maintenance Services for City of Sunny Isles Beach
9
9/23/19
Use or disclosure of data contained on this sheet is subject to the restriction on the title page of this
proposal.
unforeseen emergencies should arise. Additionally, Mr. Oliva will also be reachable
at all times in the event that the PM is unavailable, or if the Government desires
direct communication with senior management.
The Management Team will be supported on site by working section or shift leads
who will assist in ensuring the highest quality of work, site safety and complete
customer satisfaction. JOliva will staff the project with 7 full-time & part-time
janitors to complete all of the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual,
annual, periodic, seasonal, or as-needed requirements, and on-call requirements.
JOliva is committed to the long term support of City of Sunny Isles Beach. We
understand that finding and keeping great employees is paramount to our success.
JOliva, Inc.’s employee retention strategies address three fundamental aspects of
the workplace: the ethics and values foundation upon which the organization rests;
the policies that interpret those values and the physical environment in which
people work. The overall goal is to make our company a place where people want to
come to work. Whether an employee is part of a large team at a JOliva work site, or
a single individual assigned to support a customer at a remote site, we believe that
there are three additional fundamental aspects to employee job satisfaction: Having
a job that one feels is important; a job that they are trained and equipped to do; and
a feeling that they are appreciated for doing it.
STAFF PLACEMENT AND MANAGEMENT
JOliva understands that the City requires consistent support throughout the life of
the contract. Although the intent is for our proposed Key Personnel to work on this
project for its entire period of performance to include all options, there is always the
possibility that personal life events or other unforeseen events beyond the control of
the Government or JOliva bring about a requirement for staff transition.
We are committed to ensure that City receives superior support and are prepared to
transition new fully qualified staff in accordance with the terms and conditions of
the contract and with the written consent of the Contracting Officer. This is
accomplished by ensuring that we have a robust pipeline of pre-qualified candidates
with which we communicate with over the life of the contract to ensure immediate
availability if required. The staff management process for the project consists of the
following five elements: Staff Planning, Staff Acquisition, Staff Training, Staff
Tracking, and Staff Transition (Figure 3).
