STAFF REQUIREMENTS PLANNING Staff planning involves determining the numbers of required staff for each project phase to include the duration of the personnel requirement, the source of the staff, and the schedule for arrival and departure of the required staff. Our critical task in this step is to ensure that we hire staff with the right set of skills and experiences. With proper planning and coordination with our customer, we will provide additional training support that our janitors need in order to succeed. Every skill critical to the completion of assigned deliverables has been identified and assessed in terms of the level of skill required and our janitors will meet or exceeds all of the stated requirements and qualifications. STAFF / PERSONNEL ACQUISITION Position descriptions and minimum qualifications will be prepared and processed through Human Resources channels. The Project Manager coordinates with JOliva Human Resources to determine the appropriate staff classification, advertise the position, schedule the interviews, and select the staff. PERSONNEL TRAINING When new staff joins the project, our Program Manager, who is also our Training Manager for our janitorial staff will schedule and ensure the delivery of corporate and contract training prior to the employees start date at the place of performance. Training includes, but is not limited to: Figure 1.1: JOliva Staffing Management Process The staff management process for the project will ensure that the Government has a fully qualified Janitors, on the job with the proper training and oversight to enable consistent positive results and mission accomplishment.
