R.J.Behar & Company, Inc. <br />Engineers • Planners <br />V. MEP SERVICES: <br />The MEP subconsultants will produce construction documents and drawing <br />specifications for lighting upgrades in vending area and restrooms and new electrical <br />service for obtaining 3 phase power drop into site. The services shall include the <br />following: <br />1. Two (2) Coordination meetings with Client and City of Sunny Isles Beach to <br />establish the design criteria for electrical and site lighting. <br />2. Construction documents and specifications for electrical and site lighting, which <br />include, but are not limited to, floor plans, schedules, risers, panels, details, etc. <br />3. Coordinate and conform to the applicable Building Codes and building departments. <br />4. Three (3) sets of signed and sealed permit documents. Additional sets to be billed as <br />reimbursable. <br />5. Progress /Coordination meetings with Client/Owner for design. <br />6. Light fixture selection and placement is included. <br />VI. ENVIRONMENTAL PERMITTING: <br />Task 1 — Vegetation and Habitat Assessment <br />This task includes a desktop review of potentially regulated resources and conducting a <br />site assessment to document the presence /locations of vegetative communities within the <br />project area, including beach dune, coastal strand, hammock, wetland and exotic <br />vegetation. E Sciences will assess the potential for impacts to sea turtles due to existing <br />and proposed lighting and changes to the park's landscaping. Findings will be prepared in <br />a memorandum for use in permitting, along with a figure depicting vegetative <br />communities or habitat. <br />Task 2 — Plans Review and Comments <br />E Sciences will review the proposed plans and comment on aspects that we identify as <br />unlikely to be in compliance with FDEP and FWC guidelines, as well as Chapter 108, <br />Article III of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Code of Ordinances. If requested, E Sciences <br />will red line the plans and suggest modifications. Recommendations may include <br />lighting options that have been preapproved by the FWC as sea turtle friendly. <br />Task 3 — Permitting and Agency Coordination <br />E Sciences will complete the permit applications and prepare the permit application <br />packages with information provided by the survey /design team. Information that will <br />need to be provided to E Sciences includes: <br />1. Ownership documentation, <br />2.
