(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) Section 5 Interchange 48- Inch Force Main Improvement - Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, Miami, FL YEARS COMPLETED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES 2014 CONSTRUCTION TBD (3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief Scope, Size, Cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE [ X ] Check if project performed with current firm Construction Project Manager as part of its general Engineering Consultant contract with Miami Dade Expressway Authority, was charged with the programming and management of the design services for the relocation of a 48-inch PCCP Forcemain and installation of a 36-inch force main as part SR 826/SR 836 interchange improvements. The project includes two canal crossings under proposed culverts; furnishing and installing steel casings, resilient wedge gate valves, plug valves; furnishing and installing approximately 3000 LF of 48-inch ductile iron and PCCP pipe and fittings, valves and fittings of various sizes for water main, sanitary sewer and sewage force main; making connection to existing mains with tapping sleeves and valves or solid sleeves; air release and flushing valve outlet assemblies; furnishing and installing castings. The project also includes making connections to existing mains at low flow periods within the time determined by the MD WASD; dewatering existing mains; cleaning, testing and disinfecting the mains; temporary and permanent repairs; curb and gutter restoration; sidewalk restoration; furnishing additional suitable backfill materials; and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work for a complete and fully functional installation. e.
