The bridge provides safe <br />access for pedestrians across the C-13 canal and prevents members of the community from having to share the existing adjacent roadway <br />bridge and an old pedestrian bridge, which is in a state of disrepair. The project stakeholders included the South Florida Water Management <br />District (SFWMD), Broward County and the City of Oakland. The project features include a prefabricated aluminum bridge with concrete <br />abutments and ADA accessibility. Safety features include lighting and a closed caption television (CCTV) system for security. <br /> Cost: $ $84,447.00 (Contract Value) <br /> <br />25.
