<br />Project Manager. Responsible for providing comprehensive engineering services for the Rehabilitation of the Sunny Isles Bridge over the
<br />ICWW. Services included Bridge Development Report (BDR) and bridge design services involving mechanical/ electrical systems, steel
<br />painting, deck grating replacement with wheel paths, vibration study of the control house, public involvement; permitting, TCP plans,
<br />roadway, drainage, signing and pavement markings analysis and plans, and construction cost estimates. This design project will add
<br />bicycle lanes on Sunny Isles Boulevard, from SR A1A to NE 35th Avenue, and include the addition of special safety details on the
<br />bascule grating. Traffic control plans involve a crossover geometry which required our team to coordinate with the City of Sunny Isles
<br />Beach to limit impacts to a City park and associated hardscape.

<br />Project Engineer. Responsible for the development of structural alternatives, their feasibility, and associated cost estimates for the
<br />design study for the replacement of a 248-foot swing-span bridge. Services included inspection of the structural, mechanical and
<br />electrical systems and development of rehabilitation and replacement options (swing and bascule span) with conceptual drawings,
<br />alignments, and cost estimates. Also responsible for structural design for the replacement of a 220-foot swing-span bridge. Project
<br />consisted of 678-foot of new bridge with a 250-foot deck girder swing-span and approach spans utilizing Florida I-Beams.
<br />Embankments were supported by MSE walls and protected by new bulkheads and revetment. In addition to the bridge structures, a
<br />new pile-supported tender house was included.

<br />investigation, load rating, drainage, utility coordination, bridge bulkhead wall design, temporary bridge, maintenance of traffic, public
<br />involvement support as well as bid-phase and post-design services.

<br />Structural Engineer. Responsible for responsible for bascule pier and footing design consisting of 30-foot-deep cofferdam, 30-square-
<br />inch prestressed piles, AASHTO LRFD loads including vessel collision, steel trunnion towers and access platforms, stairs, door, and
<br />hatches. Design of a new $50 million double-leaf bascule bridge used the appearance of a deck truss Chicago-style trunnion bascule
<br />span to fit in with the historic and aesthetic character of Miami’s Little Havana community. Project included greenway Riverwalk, control
<br />tower, and approach roadways designs.
