<br />Project Engineer. Responsible for preparing agendas for progress meetings and recording minutes; preparing CPPR, holiday and
<br />weather letters; reviewing and approving estimates, tracking claims; shop drawing submittal logs, concrete lots, and pay item
<br />overruns/underruns; updating/signing & sealing final as-builts; updating the computation book; and reviewing daily reports of
<br />construction. This 675-foot-long, $17.3M bascule bridge replacement project includes reconfiguration of the roadway approaches, new

<br />Senior Project Engineer. Responsible for all construction and administrative aspects which includes reviewing contract documents, holding
<br />meetings, preparing progress pay estimates, change orders and the final estimate package, reviewing/approving shop drawings,
<br />updating submittal logs, preparing/signing and sealing the final as-builts, monitoring field activities, and reviewing daily construction
<br />reports; monitoring the material testing program and pile driving operations, resolved issues in the field, advised where to look for
<br />requirements when inspecting different aspects of the work, performed depth checks during the Bidwell dry run and during concrete
<br />placement for deck pours, inspected rebar placement, ensured all permanent works were installed in accordance with contract
<br />documents. This project required the replacement of the structurally obsolete bridge and the resurfacing/reconstructing of the roadway
<br />approaches. The new bridge, founded on 18-inch square piles with CIP caps and a 1.5 foot CIP deck, accommodates 12-foot travel
<br />lanes, 5.5-foot shoulders and 6.5-foot sidewalks. Limited right-of-way necessitated the purchase of temporary/permanent easements
<br />so a temporary bridge could be installed. Significant utility relocations required moving overhead electric/communication lines and the
<br />replacing raw water main which serves 80% of the County’s customers.
