Utilities
The primary objective of the utility coordination process is to identify and
resolve all known utility conflicts and reduce the risk to the Bridge Park
schedule and budget. F.R. Aleman possesses a vast knowledge of the
requirements, issues, and processes associated with the coordination and
disposition of utilities during the design process. This knowledge avoids
delays associated with conflicts.
According to Sunshine State One-Call Report (as tabulated below) and
our preliminary utility outreach, 12 utilities have been identified as
being present within the project boundaries. These utilities include
overhead joint use electric, underground electric, water, gas, sanitary,
underground telephone, and fiber optic facilities. County and several local
agencies acknowledged the following facilities: Sunny Isles Beach; Atlantic
Broadband; Miami-Dade County Public Works, Traffic and Water & Sewer
Departments; Crown Castle Fiber; Hotwire Communications; MCI; North
Miami Beach Water/Jacobs; Crown Castle NG; Teco Peoples Gas South
Florida; AT&T/Distribution; and FPL Transmission.
Sunshine State One-Call Data
D-7
