<br />Mr. Peña performs structural engineering calculations and reviews structural plans. Mr Peña's experience includes havin g worked for
<br />the US Department of Urban Development, US Coast Guard, US Army COE, Federal Highway Administration and as a consultant. His
<br />experience included Florida and Puerto Rico. He has performed project engineering and structural design and support required for the
<br />preparation of plans and specifications for civil works projects including bridges, culverts, pump stations, spillways, retaining walls, and
<br />ancillary buildings. Project engineering functions have included preparing project schedules and budgets, establishing design criteria,
<br />interdisciplinary coordination, internal and external technical review, establishing bid solicitation evaluation criteria, contractor bid

<br />The new project will include the construction of a new locally and remotely operated water control structure in the new alignment of Cypress Canal,
<br />approximately 2000 ft east of the existing weir. The new structure includes a bridge over the Cypress Canal, new gates, cont rol buildings, stilling
<br />well platforms on concrete piles and miscellaneous appurtenances. Cost/Fees Paid: $378,925 Construction Cost: $3,000,000 (Estimate).
