<br />Rib Erection <br />To reduce disruption to traffic and duration of lane closures, we propose precast rib brackets and exterior <br />diaphragms between the FUBs. The rib strength capacity will be developed through mild reinforcing <br />therefore not requiring any post-tensioning activities. These rib elements can be lifted into place and tied <br />to the FUBs with a cast-in-place interior diaphragm. Strongbacks will be placed across the FUBs to support <br />the precast brackets and external diaphragms. <br /> <br />Rib Erection Support Schematic <br />D-22
