Resume <br />Maser Consulting <br />MICHAEL CARDO, PSM <br />Project Surveyor – Design and Construction Surveys <br /> <br />EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />Mr. Cardo is a Survey Department Project Manager for Maser <br />Consulting’s Miami office. He has over 13 years of varied experience <br />in land Surveying and has been responsible for a diverse number of <br />surveying tasks including Determination of Boundaries, Right of Way <br />Control and Monumentation, Various Construction Surveying services <br />for commercial, residential, bridges and high-rise construction, <br />Topographic, Utility Location, and As-built Surveys. <br /> <br />Mr. Cardo’s administrative nature helps him manage projects with an <br />emphasis on communication, scheduling, financial budgets, <br />deliverables and execution. He has excellent administration skills, bi- <br />lingual, excels at both verbal and written communication in English and <br />Spanish. His duties include supervising field and office work, delegate <br />duties amongst field and office staff, coordinating work requests with <br />clients to develop daily work schedules, and the tracking of the status <br />of projects. He attends daily meetings and develops reports on <br />projects, billings, and workload. During these meetings, he updates <br />other managers on the status of work and makes commitments to <br />meet critical deadlines. He completes daily timesheets and prepares <br />monthly reports on billings; and he attends biweekly meetings <br />regarding both his billings and collections. <br /> <br />Mr. Cardo has supervised the use of GPS (Global Position Systems) <br />equipment to establish aerial control targets and primary traverse <br />control for roadway projects. He has a vast knowledge of construction <br />layout services, including supervising the layout of various types of <br />utilities for construction, including, power, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, <br />water mains, etc. He has also supervised the layout of high-rise <br />developments which includes determining property boundaries, <br />coordinating fitment of building tower within limits, layout of building <br />tower, marking and verifying foundation locating, setting and verifying <br />grades, vertical alignment and final surveys. <br /> <br />MUNICIPAL WORK <br />City of Miami Beach – Design Survey & Geotechnical Services <br />Miami-Dade County, FL <br />Surveyor in charge of budgeting, planning, coordination and <br />scheduling for geotechnical studies, underground utility detection and <br />as-built, mast arm detailed as-built <br /> <br />ROADWAY PROJECTS <br />SR 916/NE 135th Street <br />Surveyor in charge of budgeting, coordinating and scheduling work for <br />recovering and re-establishing traverse control utilizing conventional <br />survey and GPS technology equipment.
