<br />Mr. Bud Goblisch is a Vice President and Senior Project Manager for CES Consultants. With over 40 years of engineering and
<br />construction inspection and management experience, Bud has extensive knowledge of what it takes to complete work on time
<br />and budget for resident engineering projects. He recognizes the importance of being responsive to the City’s needs and of
<br />being flexible and creative to deliver the most cost-effective solutions to project challenges.

<br />Principal in Charge for the rehabilitation of 16,000 LF of water main pipelines of varying sizes from 4” to 12” including
<br />DIP, PVC and HDPE at 19 locations across Palm Beach County. Installation of the new segments of waterline and new
<br />interconnections improved system capacity and hydraulic efficiencies, eliminated dead-ends, and reduced water retention
<br />time, resulting in improved water quality. Directional Drilling was designed for major intersections and tree lined corridors.

<br />As Project Director/Sr. Project Manager, provided full time construction inspection services. Bud oversaw a full time
<br />Field Engineer to inspect the work and manage the materials testing for the project. The project included the removal
<br />of vegetation and encroachments from within the District’s easements, the construction of a reinforced earthen berm,
<br />stormwater collection and disposal structures, and vehicular access gates. This project required significant coordination
<br />with the residents on the canal as many had encroached on the District’s right-of-way with structures, pools and patios.
<br />All had to be removed. The work was completed on time and under budget.

<br />As Project Director/Sr. Project Manager, provided full time construction inspection services. This project made improvements
<br />to the canal to improve drainage and to provide improved flood protection to residents. The work included clearing the
<br />right-of-way completely of illegal structures and vegetation, hardening the canal bank with fill and a limerock base, High
<br />Performance Turf Reinforcing Mats, and sodding, as well as environmental and turbidity monitoring. CES performed on-site
<br />representation to observe and document the construction and to assist the DPM in determining if the work was performed
<br />according to the plans and specifications. This included reviewing and responding to shop drawing submittals, Requests for
<br />Information, Change Orders, Field Orders and Value Engineering proposals. It also required CES to provide Record Drawings
<br />and a Construction Certificate of Completion at the end of the project, signed and sealed by a Florida Professional Engineer.
<br />Informing residents of the work that had to be completed was a daily effort and the most challenging part of the project.
