The pump station structures were designed as pre-cast in <br />pieces for shipping purposes and assembled inside a coffer dam. The platforms and the vault were cast in place and, due to <br />the soil conditions in Miami Beach, were set on top of a pile system foundation. He also designed the mast arm foundations <br />for the 1.2 miles of roadway reconstruction, as well as 11 individual water quality facilities comprising a wet well and settling <br />tank.
