REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. 20-07-01 <br />CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TAB D: PROJECT APPROACH AND UNDERSTANDING <br /> <br />▪ Review Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans <br />▪ Review and monitor storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) <br />▪ Coordinate field and office as-built data <br />▪ Monitor testing <br />▪ Act as City’s representative during the construction process <br />▪ Attend pre-final inspection <br />▪ Prepare a punch-list <br />During construction, Mr. Gibney and Mr. Shaver will meet with the City of Sunny Isles Beach staff to <br />monitor schedules and budget and assi st in the administration of the contract. They will maintain <br />copies of the daily reports, the contractor’s progress reports, change order requests, and updated <br />construction schedules. We will maintain a project file throughout the duration of the project, which <br />will be provided to the City staff upon completion of the project. <br />Inspection Phase <br />Craven Thompson will perform the following services for City of Sunny Isles Beach during the <br />Inspection Phase of the contract: <br />▪ Provide periodic field inspections for the construction of the roadway, landscape, sidewalk, <br />hardscape, drainage/stormwater improvements, and right-of-way restoration <br />▪ Conduct on-site reviews and inspections throughout construction <br />▪ Witness and schedule construction testing <br />▪ Prepare inspection and testing reports <br />▪ Prepare daily inspection reports <br />▪ Coordinate as-built data collection with the <br />contractor <br />▪ Coordinate weekly as-built plan update <br />▪ Determine if the contractor’s work is in substantial <br />conformance with the contract documents <br />Final Certification Phase <br />Craven Thompson will perform the following services for Sunny Isles Beach during the final <br />certification phase of the contract: <br />▪ Attend final inspection of the project with applicable governmental agency representatives, <br />contractor, and the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />▪ Provide written approval of final payments to contractor <br />▪ Prepare engineering certification letters as required <br />D | Page 10
