BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (include scope, size, and cost) <br />The Former Sabal Golf Course is an 11 -acre remnant of the golf course that has not yet been redeveloped. In advance of <br />its redevelopment into a recreational use property (Sports Park), this remaining portion, the site, located at 3151 N.W. 31 st <br />Street in Pompano Beach, Florida, underwent a 9,600 -ton (non -hazardous) soil source removal project. <br />Source removal activities were conducted at multiple locations at the proposed Pompano Beach Sports Park (Former <br />Sabal Golf Course) to remove soil exhibiting arsenic concentrations exceeding the alternative recreational soil cleanup <br />target level (SCTL) and soil exhibiting dieldrin concentrations above the residential direct exposure SCTL. Source removal <br />activities also included stormwater pollution prevention planning (SWPPP/NPDES) and monitoring and health and safety <br />planning, including dust suppression and air monitoring. <br />Terracon managed all subcontractors, coordinated all field activities, documented daily activities, conducted air monitoring, <br />and coordinated logistics associated with the field project. The firm managed the field schedule, ensuring timely completion <br />of field work product on an expedited time frame, coordinated daily and weekly safety meetings, and prepared daily field <br />reports. The firm verified that project -specific QA/QC procedures were implemented through all aspects of the project. <br />Firm's Fee: $896,724 <br />4! <br />25.
