•Dania Beach Drainage Improvements – West Lake - PDS served as the Design Engineers and Project Managers for this project to provide drainage improvements to a neighborhood community in Dania Beach prone to flooding. The neighborhood located west of West Lake is a low lying community just several inches above sea level and suffers from intense flooding during times of heavy rains coinciding with high tides. The project included the drainage system including drainage wells, exfiltration trench, piping and master drainage pumps discharging into the existing West Lake. This neighborhood of over 500 acres (roughly three quarters of a square mile), is a high profile area that has been the subject of many news reports over the past several years. •City Center Master Infrastructure Pembroke Pines, Florida - (PDS) current staff served as the Design Engineers, Project Managers and Construction Managers for this project to provide master infrastructure improvements for the Pembroke Pines City Center located at the intersection of Pines Boulevard and Palm Avenue adjacent to the existing City Hall. The project included the drainage system including lakes and mitigation area, the potable water system, sanitary sewer system including pump station, roadway design and pavement marking and signage. The infrastructure was designed for intended function of providing the overall services needed for the City Center and total build-out. •Taylor Lane Roadway Improvements, City of Dania Beach - Taylor Lane is a 2,000 linear foot section of roadway located in the City of Dania Beach adjacent to the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and the Dania Cut-Off Canal and associated Marinas. As part of the development of the south runway extension at the airport, stormwater run-off was re- directed and has adversely impacted Taylor Lane. This roadway provides the only access to the marinas located on the north side of Dania Cut off Canal west of US 1. •Miramar Pineland Natural Area, City of Miramar - The proposed project includes renovating/remodeling of the existing recreation building, demolishing the existing tennis courts, playground, fencing and any other features not designated to remain and constructing a new parking lot and pavilion, refurbishing an existing pavilion, installation of new sports court lighting, along with associated site improvements including but not limited to parking lot and hardscape improvements, lighting, fencing, landscaping, irrigation, lightning prediction/detection, site video surveillance and WiFi. •Town of Miami Lakes (Phase I) - Transit Improvements at City Bus Stops – Performed Land Surveying, Existing Underground utility Investigation, Civil Engineering, Electrical Design, Structural Design and Construction Administration at 11 locations throughout the Town. •Master Lift Station 11c Upgrades and Rehabilitation – City of Opa-Locka – This project includes renovation and upgrades to the City’s largest lift station, responsible for collecting and pumping most of the City’s sewer into Miami-Dade County System. Project included building renovations, new pumps and standby generator. •Miami-Dade Water & Sewer – GIS Input of all Miami Spring Assets – Performed GIS Input of all existing water and sewer utilities within the City of Miami Springs, digitized as-built, field location of utilities & Conflict resolution.
